Groups in Favor of Official English

An organization founded by Linda Chavez, this group has produced a number of remarkable documents such as the book, The Failure of Bilingual Education and a brochure in both English and Spanish, "A Parent's Guide to Bilingual Education. English First English First was founded in 1986 and has three goals:

(1) to make English America's official language. (2) to eliminate costly and failed programs like bilingual education and bilingual ballots and (3) to give every child the opportunity to learn English while young.
